Field Service Technician / TechnologistWe are looking for two full time Service Technicians / Technologists to perform installation, testing and service of PMC systems both in our shop and onboard ships. Duties include manufacturing and testing of systems and components, routine maintenance of installed systems, system and component level troubleshooting and emergency repair. Successful PMC service personnel have strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with digital and analog circuits and good mechanical aptitude. An Electronics Technician or Technologist certification or similar educational background is required. However, the ideal candidate will be a generalist with previous 'hands on' mechanical experience either as a hobby or during previous work experience. Driver’s license required for local travel to shipyards and ship berthing facilities. International travel may be necessary, so successful candidates will be required to maintain a valid passport. Applicants that are detail oriented, flexible, responsible, and are able to learn and work independently (as well as part of a team) will excel in PMC's working environment and will be rewarded accordingly.
