This super yacht is equipped with a PMC alarm and monitoring system providing continuous supervision of approximately 100 critical machinery functions, continuous level indication for 20 tanks, and an eleven zone fire alarm system with over 45 smoke and heat detectors throughout the vessel. Remote alarm repeaters are located in the Captain's stateroom, Engineer's stateroom, and crew lounge. The alarm and monitoring system consists of five Type 8001 Alarm Annunciators, six Type 8101 Alarm Repeaters and five Type 8110 Tank Level Monitors.  The use of two wire multidrop communication significantly minimizes shipboard wiring between annunciators and repeaters.  PMC's Type 8012 Navigation Light Control Panel was fitted in the wheelhouse to provide continuous supervision of the vessel's twelve navigation lights. Two Type 8201 Pushbutton Propulsion Order Telegraphs are installed to provide emergency communication between the wheelhouse and control room in case of remote control failure.

The record breaking La Baronessa is the largest privately owned vessel of any kind built in the United States since the 1930's, and the largest aluminum hull yacht in the world.
